Terms of Service

EstimatePaid is an online tool for creating, sending and tracking estimates and invoices. You use it to run your own business; you remain responsible for the documents you send, the prices and taxes on them, and your dealings with your customers.

You must give a working email address and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it.

You can review the devices signed in to your account, and sign them out, from your account page.

The business details, customer records, documents and files you add remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to provide the service, including delivering documents to the customers you choose to send them to.

Do not use the service to send fraudulent or misleading documents, to send email to people who have not done business with you, to break the law, or to interfere with the service or other accounts. We may suspend an account that does.

Paid plans are not yet available; until they are, accounts are free and nobody is charged. When they open, the following applies.

Plans. EstimatePaid offers a Basic and a Premium plan, each billed monthly or yearly. Current prices are on the pricing page and are shown again before you subscribe. Prices exclude any sales tax that applies.

Free trial. A new account gets a 14-day free trial with Premium features. No card is needed to start. When the trial ends, choose a plan to keep creating and sending documents; your records stay available to view.

Renewal and cancellation. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; you keep access until the end of the period already paid for, and partial periods are not refunded unless the law requires it. We will give at least 30 days’ notice of a price change, which applies from your next renewal.

App store purchases. A subscription bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play is billed, renewed, cancelled and refunded by that store under its own terms.

We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but the service is provided as is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. We may change or remove features, and will give notice of changes that materially affect you.

The service calculates totals from the figures and tax rates you enter. It does not tell you which taxes apply to you or whether your documents meet the rules where you operate. Check with a qualified adviser.

These sections (limits on liability, how either side may end the agreement, what happens to your data afterwards, and which country’s law applies) are still to be written with legal advice.
